Program Manager - Scale Up Initiative

The Vesey Foundation leverages private industry skills and expertise to exponentially improve social impact. We are a 501(c)3 organization that supports small and medium-sized nonprofits to achieve their business development and operational goals.
The Scale Up Initiative is the landmark program of the Vesey Foundation. This program offers free consulting services and other resources for our portfolio organizations. The Scale Up Initiative hosts a series of 1-day workshops each month as well as ongoing individual support by our volunteer consultants for over 120 nonprofit organizations each year.
The Vesey Foundation is hiring a program manager to manage and grow the Scale Up Initiative. The program manager will be working directly with the Chairman of the Vesey Foundation.
Responsibilities and Duties
Program manager job duties include:

Developing workshop schedules and content

Recruiting and managing consulting volunteer network

Identifying and recruiting program sponsors and partners

Managing existing sponsor relationships

Promoting the initiative throughout the charitable community

Reviewing non-profit applications

Attending conferences and industry events as needed

Creating and maintaining the program budget

Documenting progress and operations
-
Any other duties necessary to successfully operate the program

Job requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution
-
Two or more years of experience in the non-profit or startup indystry (excludes government)
-
Business development experience
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills
-
Strong interpersonal skills
-
Solid organizational skills
-
Knowledge of relevant technologies
-
Ability to work in Manhattan
-
Minimal travel may be required
Additional Details:

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000 to $75,000 / year
Start Date: March 1, 2018
